The importance of social audio spaces continue to emerge. It’s important for you to utilize the power of audio by writing words to extend your purpose online. When you think about writing strategies for social media, what comes to mind? You can create an instant connection with your audience by continuing to write about your journey. Everyone wants to be a part of an experience. For example, I use “micro-blogging” to share my struggles with epilepsy and cerebral palsy. People hear my struggles and want to give me inspirational advice. You can amplify your voice across different platforms by engaging with your community. Have you ever thought about writing to grow your community?

If you are interested in growing your community, think about utilizing the importance of writing strategies. Why? Writing content leads to generating leads. For example, your emails, text messages, and blogs all are lead magnets. Now, your written content can lead to instant connections with your listeners. This is a golden opportunity to become aware of the social audio spaces.

Now, have you heard of micro-blogging? I like to think of it as a short-form of written content that drives engagement. It’s very resourceful depending on how you utilize your words on social platforms. I have a unique strategy I utilize on multiple platforms to drive engagement. For example, social media has a lot of graphics. There are a ton of graphic learners who want to probably see my graphics. However, I want to showcase my words as a writer. Should I create more thought-provoking graphics? A micro-blog will allow my community to see an enriching graphic while reading some amazing words in my caption. I like to structure my captions or micro-blogs in a three (3) section format listed below:

  1. Hook
  2. Story
  3. Call to Action

To amplify my voice, I break down my words for their digestibility. I realize most people don’t want to read a 500 word post made into a caption. I write words that are 300 words or less to increase engagement. My goal is to get the attention of my reader fast. In our society, there is a shift to social audio platforms. If you don’t keep up, you will be left behind. My micro-blogs keep my other forms of written content relevant. I know my words are powerful. When I continue to speak and write with consistency, my business will grow. Social platforms are an excellent way for customers and followers alike to build rapport. It’s important that you utilize the potential of these platforms. In order to utilize writing strategies, make sure you’re being heard!

Use social media writing strategies for your business because it’s an excellent way to feel connected and stay up-to date. It also gives you the opportunity to build a strong online community. Never underestimate the power of a strong online presence! Let your writing strategies lead to monetization within your company. The possibilities are endless when you explore the opportunities.   3. Pinterest

These are search engine optimized platforms like Medium. Post your content with integrity as it represents you. Build an online catalog where you can re-purpose your content. Utilize your writing strategies to make guest posts or preview reviews of products. Give your readers access to the pages as they listen to your words with attention.

When you start to grow, engage with your community consistently. Build a strong community by finding ways to interact with them on a daily basis. Think about creating an event or product that can make all the difference. When you’re looking for new business, expand your platforms. Reach your community with new writing strategies that will change the way they do business. There’s no single way to write content. Be genuine and authentic in your approach to the writing process.

There are many ways that businesses can use social platforms like Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram for their marketing efforts. The most popular platforms among small business owners using social media is Facebook (40%), followed by LinkedIn (25%) and YouTube (21%).
